Jon Hill, a Texas native, has fifteen years experience handling divorce and family law cases throughout the state. He is a Texas Aggie (B.S. Economics 1988, Master of Public Administration [George H.W. Bush School of Government and Public Service] 1989) and former member of Infantry in the Army Reserves. In 1994, he graduated from South Texas College of Law as a member of the Order of the Lytae and near the top of his class.
Soon after graduation, he took over managing the family firm in Austin, leading it to an AV Martindale Hubble rating just two years later. He then moved the practice to Houston and turned the practice into one the busiest divorce firms within the city.
He took a brief hiatus from the practice when he was tapped by the Office of Mayor Lee Brown to work in the Office of Chief of Staff, to monitor and evaluate the long term revenue consequences to the city from its burgeoning number of tax increment reinvestment zones.
After the conclusion of Mayor Brown's term, Mr. Hill went back to his practice and resumed managing what was still, one of the most active family law practices in the Harris County area. To date, Mr. Hill has helped lead thousands of people through the divorce process.
